***2013***

Wow! I literally turned around and It is already February! Where O' where does the time go? It is strange to think I am 25, married and Lord hasn't returned yet. I always though I would not get a chance to experience this much life on earth. When I was a child, I was convinced the good Savior would come take us away before I was a teen. ;) I would love for him to come anytime! I am ready, but while I wait I am going to enjoy my time here and live life to his fullest.

I was so blessed to have gotten to keep Kari and Malachi for a week before my school started. Thanks Ashlee! Being 6 hrs away from you all is so hard! I don't know what I would do if you weren't such a wonderful person and let me share your kids. :)

The week started so wonderfully. I met Ashlee at Cleveland, TN on Thursday and got the kids and we headed back to KY. Kari is so funny. They've only been gone since Thanksgiving, but you would think it had been years since she had been to KY. She was constantly saying things about how pretty the KY trees were, (And this is wintertime so the only thing she could see was the evergreen or pine trees.) or that some of our KY looked just like her AL. LOL!!! She is a hoot!

Once we got home it was time to go to Church. Little miss Trinity joined us in a sleepover. Fun times for sure! Mamaw Opal was also staying all night with us and she got up and fixed the kids breakfast and played with them. Then Ivy kept them while we worked at the soup kitchen. Thanks Ivy! They loved it!

Friday we took them to Mr. Gattis and they Had a blast! They had received money for Christmas from some relatives and I gave them a choice to either go buy another toy or go spend it on games. They chose the games and let me tell ya it was money well spent. Their little laughter was continuous and we had all had a fun night. We literally had to drag them out. :)

Memaw Mary and Sissy Bran came and got them Saturday to do Christmas with them since they hadn't got to yet. When they came back they had toys, new bicycles, and tee ball stuff. Yes, it was a dangerous time at my house. They played like crazy and Monday when Chris got home he took them outside and let them play tee ball. They had a blast and let me just tell ya, Kari has a good swing for 5yr. old. She can really whack that ball!

Tuesday when we got up Malachi was running a fever so we had to go get meds. He ended up sleeping almost all day. So Kari and I amused ourselves playing bingo, a fishing game, and making waffles. We made waffles almost everyday.

Poor Baby!

Wednesday Malachi was not running a fever, but still wasn't up to his usual self. We just stayed inside and played with all their toys. He felt good enough to ride his bike. Thank goodness my floor is hardwood. Getting to ride their bikes inside the house was a life saver.

Princess!

Thursday we packed up and headed back to meet Ashlee. We were so cram~packed in the car it was sight! They were taking home so much loot we could hardly get it all in my little car and that was with the bicycles taken apart. On the way, Kari started running a fever and Ashlee had to take her to the ER as soon as she got back home. It was the flu. :( Thankfully they just gave her antibiotics and she got to go on home. She and Malachi are doing well, but Ashlee and Matthew have it now.

Stopped at uncle Mike's for a haircut

I had such a lonely ride home all by myself and yes, I shed some tears. So my sweet husband tried to cheer me up with reservations at Malone's. It worked like a charm. ;) he took me out on a date and treated me like a princess. It made me realize once again what a blessed gal I am. God didn't just give me a good man, he also gave a Godly man. In this world of perversion and lust I have a man who is faithful and committed to me. There are so many women who don't have someone who values them above all others. I don't ever want to take him or his love for granted. I am thrilled to be Mrs. Chris McKinney. :)

ZZZZZzzzzzz!
