Fall Favorites

This morning around 11 my dear darling Kari called and asked if she could come down and play. Of course I was thrilled and said YES! I hadn't had a play day in a while. :) We stareted our day at the park and besides the wind, we had great weather for a fun-filled day.

After many tries at playing tennis, Kari said, " Hey Lacey, we just ain't much too good are we?" LOL!!! We did have fun trying! For lunch we went to the Dairy Dip for cheeseburgers and fries. After lunch we played outside with flopsey and mopsey for a while.

I had been telling Kari for awhile that we would paint our pumpkins and today was the perfect day to do it. We sent uncle to the store to get us some paint, but they didn't have any. We substituted and used permanent markers to do the job. I thought we did a great job!

Our finished pumpkins. Of course the doggies had their part as well. Have a great fall day! God bless.

Fall...........I Love It!!!!!!!!!!

I know, I know! I haven't updated in ages!!!! I will say that we have been so busy with many new things that I haven't had time or I just didn't feel like it. Ok, that said let's catch up. Everyone knows about our darling Miss. Kari. The last post I did was righ before we found out about her leukemia. It has been a very hard time, but God has been there every step of the way. I am amazed at how stong Ashlee has become and how God has used her and Kari to make a connection with other cancer patients at the hospital and clinic. God has really shaped her into something we, and she, never knew she could be. I was thinking just the other day about how through all we've been facing, it has made God so much more real. When it's all said and done there's no one to trust and depend on, but God. While Kari was in the hospital I took off work and kept Malachi. We had never had any time with just the two of us because Kari was always there too. Although he missed his mommy and sissy, we has a great time! Here's a few photo's of our time.

Chris and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary on September the 10th. We have been so blessed to have such a great life together and a happy marriage. I know we married young and didn't know much anout life, but we have learnt a lot togther and wouldn't change a thing!

Yummy and Fun!!

Very Romantic

We ate at the Melting Pot. It was the most awesome dinning experience ever!

We went down to TN for a little weekend getaway. We had so much fun doing nothing.

We actually rested and relaxed by the pool and played games and of course ate a lot!

Ok, next we had my papaw Lewis' 70th birthday party!

I Love You Papaw!!!!

Last Friday night we had a little cook-out. The kids enjoyed it so much! Well, we all did. One of the things I love best about fall is the cool weather and building a fire and spending time with family with hotdogs and marshmellows! :)

I do believe I have made up for lost time. I have been very busy with school this semester. College math is not easy! I'm doing the best I can, but not killing myself. I've decided if I make a "B", then so be it, and it may even be a "C" in english 2. Oh well, life goes on........I hope. :) I am enjoying the cool weather of fall. It is my favorite season!!! I hope you all have a great weekend!
